“Democrats Don’t Have A Clue To Political Reality”

The headline above comes from James Carville who worked as a Democrat strategist during the Clinton years. In a speech he gave years ago, he explained why he worked for them.  In plain language he pointed out Democrats were not thinkers but people who were easily led. Read his comments for yourself:

I should point out that I don’t believe in political party loyalty. My belief is political parties exist to serve the people. They are supposed to represent all Americans and not use voters as pawns to retain their political power. This means they must do what they promise to better American society for all Americans. Are their solutions based on common sense and with a projected insight into the possible future consequences?  Do they spend out hard earned taxes to achieve cost benefit and cost efficiency? Do they understand they work for us and not the other way around? Do they use their offices to enrich themselves at our expense by granting favors in return for money?

These questions must be answered to my satisfaction to get my vote.  I used to be a liberal Democrat but found that the Democrat Party has turned far to the left to enrich and grow their power. I am forever reminded of Carville’s words when I meet liberal Democrats today. They know little or nothing about what is going on in our economy and our world. Yet they blindly vote Democrat because they always voted Democrat. Carville is correct when he calls them “dumb and lazy”.
