Democrat Insanity

Let me start this blog by paraphrasing Albert Einstein.  Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.  Keep this in mind as you read.

I read a survey report this morning about voters in New Jersey. Most expressed satisfaction with their neighborhoods and living in the state with one exception – taxes. 82 percent complaint about the high taxes! 61 percent of the 82% were extremely dissatisfied about the high taxes and cost of living in the state.

I heard the same thing expressed by a friend who lived in Democrat controlled Illinois. The friend told me the Democrats made the same promises every election. But once elected no promises were kept. As a matter of fact, they continued to spend money in outlandish ways while pushing taxes higher and higher to pay for their extravagant spending. Yet the voters continued to elect the same Democrats year after year and expected there would be changes for the better.

This is the same story in New Jersey which is a Democrat controlled state. Despite the complaints of the high taxes and cost of living the voters put the professional Democrat political hacks back into office and ignore the fact that Republicans have become the party of cutting spending and reducing taxes.

This voter insanity has allowed New Jersey, Illinois, California, Connecticut, Oregon, etc to spend their way into debt and high taxes. The politicians are not to blame but the voters for supporting Democrats who spend and tax.

Yet masses of these same voters are fleeing to Republican low tax states like Texas and Tennessee carrying their loyalty to the Democrat Party with them. They seem like the three monkeys that are symbols for being deaf, dumb, and blind. They are excellent examples illustrating Einstein’s definition of insanity by their voting. They flee from the Democrat politicians who they voted to represent them yet complain about the same politicians who are just interested in furthering their political careers. The Democrats have a history of loving to spend other peoples’ money. It is insanity.

Contrary to what readers may think I don’t believe in party loyalty. I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans; however, I look at who is cutting expenses, cutting spending, lowering taxes, keeping promises, staying within budgets, providing improvements, etc. Right now it is the Republicans who are doing these things. The Democrats have become lost in far left politics.
